Physical fitness is always associated with overall balanced mind and body. Exercise and meditation can do a wonderful work for the health.Yoga is one such technique which provided the overall fitness. An inner transformation takes place by which one becomes moral, united, integrated and balanced. One can actually feel the all pervading divine power as a cool breeze, as described in all religions and spiritual traditions of the world. This is the actualization of such transformation, which is taking place now, worldwide, and has been proved and experienced by hundreds of thousands in over 90 countries. It is entirely free of charge, as one cannot pay for the experience of Divine Love.
Yoga has become the new age mantras. It is an exercise in moral and metal cultivation of poses and practices that aim toward harmonizing the mind, body and soul. They all lead to the attainment of oneness with the universe.
It is a type of spiritual practice which does not subscribe nor promote any particular faith.Concept of yoga is old enough as Vedas or Purnas. It's just that the benefits of the same are being discovered again. An ancient Indian philosophy, the principles of Yoga are timeless, holding true as much in today's time as it did centuries ago. Yoga is done to attain Samadhi. Through exercises which are commonly called "yoga asana" there are systemized yogic practices and traditions which direct a person towards the path of yoga sutra.
It stresses the freedom of mind from ego and become a pure being. Mind is the highest form of matter and man freed from this dragnet of Chitta or Ahankara (mind or ego) becomes a pure being.
The easiest path to reach this state of dispassion and undisturbed tranquillity is the path of Bhakti or love. Here, man surrenders his all-mind, soul, ego-to the Divine Being and is only led on by the Divine will. Self-surrender the Diving Name. Such repetition must not be mechanical but one-pointed and full of favor. For this, concentration is necessary.
Good cheer, compassion, absence of jealousy, complacence towards the virtuous and consideration towards the wicked must be consciously cultivated.
Yoga is the beginning of a fantastic journey into one's inner spiritual existence. It opens a new dimension of awareness which can be opened and explored. If regular meditation is done, it will help enable to recognize the subtle centers as well as the charkas of others. It can also correct the use of spiritual energy.
